Have you tried using another Charger with your phone? Be sure it is (Designed for your Samsung Galaxy Phone) Older Chargers and other Non Samsung Branded Chargers will cause Damage to your Battery and Charging Faults as well.

Please follow these instruction EXACTLY as I have instructed.:

1. Turn off your Galaxy Phone Completely.

3. Keep holding until you see the Android recovery menu appear.
4. Use the Volume down button to highlight “Wipe Cache Partition”.
5. Press the Power button to select it.
You will see a confirmation message, select Yes to confirm.
6. Scroll up to "Reboot Device"
7. Press the "Power Button"

Your Samsung Galaxy Phone will reboot and the "Cache Partition" is now wiped.

Once your Samsung Galaxy Phone has rebooted. Try plugging in your charger (Designed for your Samsung Galaxy Phone)

On your Samsung Galaxy Phone:

1. Tap "Settings"
2. Type in the Search Bar "Battery"
3. Look for "Protect Battery"
4. Look for "Protect Battery" and be sure the Slider is OFF! (If the Slider is ON this will limit the charge of your Battery to 85%)

***Please Note: That these Instructions are for Android 14 ONE UI 6*** But ensuring that Battery Protection is turned OFF will fix the charging max limit of 85% you mentioned. You can go into Device Care if running Android 13. And check your Battery Protection there!
