Samsung Electronics Customer Support Department Subject: Follow-up on Official Complaint - Urgent Attention Required Dear Sir/Madam, I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to follow up on the official complaint I submitted regarding the issues I encountered with my device following the recent software update provided by Samsung. As outlined in my previous correspondence dated March 21, 2024, despite my efforts to troubleshoot the problem independently, the issues persist, rendering my device virtually unusable. Despite undertaking recommended troubleshooting measures, including regular restarts, activating safe mode, clearing the cache, and even performing a factory reset, the issues remain unresolved. Unfortunately, the actions taken by Samsung specialists have exacerbated the situation, leading to the complete malfunction of my phone. I am deeply disappointed by the insufficient level of support received thus far. Given that the root cause of the problem can be directly attributed to Samsung's software update, I find it unjust to bear any financial responsibility for the repair or diagnosis of the device. Considering the severity of this matter, I urge Samsung to provide an immediate resolution. I request either a complimentary inspection and repair of the device by qualified technical specialists or an escalation of this issue for your management's review. I trust you recognize the urgency of this situation and will take prompt action to address it, thereby restoring my confidence in Samsung's commitment to customer satisfaction. I await your prompt response and a satisfactory resolution to this urgent matter. Sincerely, Viacheslav Makeev

Hello Donslavio, Welcome to the Community. We understand how frustrating it is for the phone to be experiencing battery drain and for the Wi-Fi to not work.

Something to keep in mind too, when there's a big update, it may reset the battery learning patterns, that's why some may experience this after updates.  If it doesn't get better within a few days it may be an application that's causing the drain, check out this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001388/

You can also use this article with steps for optimizing the phone to help with the battery: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/galaxy-battery/optimization/

To troubleshoot Wi-Fi connection concerns, try these steps: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001559/

We also recommend clearing the cache partition of the phone in the recovery menu.

To get to recovery mode:
- Turn off phone
- Once off, hold down volume up and power buttons simultaneously
- When Samsung logo appears, release power button BUT KEEP HOLDING VOLUME UP until the recovery menu appears
- Use volume buttons to navigate down to clear cache (NOT CLEAR DATA/ FACTORY RESET)
- Use power button to select.

If those troubleshooting steps are followed, and you still are having issues, we would recommend taking the device to a technician to perform diagnostics or a potential re-flash of your software.

You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in he U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/ or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.
