My phone reboots often. I've reported this to Samsung without any resolution. Any ideas?

You may be burdened down with too much weight on your system if it's frequently going to a restart that's what it's doing right? There's all kinds of ways that you could lighten up your phone, you can start with your Google account and check your activities that covers everything from YouTube to Google voice searches that you may use if you've looked something up, watched it on your screen or read it there, it's in that activity, if you don't have a preset to dispose of it, it's just building up. Chrome and the Samsung internet they can get waited down pretty easy with extra tab pages. As you enter either one of them sites, and if you notice a box with a number inside, that number represents each Tab screen opon. When leaving that particular site, unless you have a reason to save a particular tab page, you probably want to clear them out. Highlight one of the boxes with the numbers in it it and it will open the screen, them start smacking the x button (delete). Your navigation bar on your phone has a three button panel, it has a back, a home and a recent app button, your recent apps is explanatory, and it shows you all the apps that you've opened on, if you don't close them out, they don't go away. If your not using the tabs as a book mark, then close them out. Now I brought this to you as if you were new with minimal experience with software, i start at the beginig not to confuse you, but if you're not, please understand I mean no disrespect, it's just easier for me to start at the beginning when there is so little info to go from rather than try to guess when I need to start in the middle. Your pictures, get rid of duplicate pictures and then check the trash, empty it because as you delete a picture it will usually set in your phone for 30 days until it is deleted from the trash bin, so they just builds up the same thing is with your excess files that you don't need. I hope that helped you lighten up your phone,so you can give it a good restart. Also dump some apps that you don't use, you may have a subscription to it or a password to it but it don't necessarily need it to be on your screen when you're not using it , uninstall it. Good luck to you fella

Hello, We understand how frustrating it is for the phone to randomly restart itself. Do you have Auto Optimization turned on in Settings>Device care?

I would try wiping the cache partition on your device and see if that helps any.

- Turn off the device.
- Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
- When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
- An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
- Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
- Press the Power key to select.
- Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
- When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
- Press the Power key to restart the device.
