Fold 5: Getting delayed or no notification from apps

I am not sure if this is an App, android configuration or Samsung Z fold 5 issues. I am not getting instant notifications from some of the apps on the phone.  I use some of the apps to notify me of available jobs, but by the time the notification comes to alert me, the jobs are already gone. For  example the notification may come in the email and and the App alert, however,  I get no  notifications from Google Gmail app unless I open the phone. I get delayed notification from apps. 

I have the iPad and I can see the email notification on the iPad, but at the same time there are no Email notifications on the phone. Strangely, the alerts from ESPN occur at the same time both on the iPad and the phone.

I checked the alert setting for the gmail and the app I used to notify me about the jobs and made sure that both of them are not sleeping and battery set to Unrestricted. I am not sure if there is any other settings.

 
Is there a way to receive instant notifications on the phone?

This article will walk you through some settings that may affect receiving notifications: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001588

You can also reset the app preferences. Here are the steps : Go to Settings >> Apps >> Tap on three dots on the top right >> Reset app preferences >> Reset.

Another step is to reset the Network settings: Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings (Please note that this will reset Wi-Fi, Cellular data, and Bluetooth settings which means you will have to input your Wi-Fi credentials again.

Additionally, we recommend disconnecting from any VPNs you have connected to, and testing the phone.

If you continue to experience delayed notifications, or are not receiving any notifications, we recommend having the phone evaluated by an authorized service center.
