Photo Albums not showing in Gallery, but shows photos in other apps?

Can anyone tell me.how to get photos back on my phone? Gallery only shows me some of my albums. Went into settings and selected show all, but the only way I cam see them all is if I am in FB and want to post an image. Then they all show up

If you want all your albums to show up in the gallery you need to open the gallery and select the 3 lines in the bottom right and select settings and toggle off select essential albums and they should all show up

Hello, thanks for reaching out. I can see how this is confusing when it shows through one app, but not the Gallery app itself. It is also possible a third-party application is responsible for this behavior. Check with Safe Mode: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/

If you can be sure you back up everything, even if just not visible in Gallery itself, you can try a factory reset: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

I also don't have all albums in my gallery. But I can see albums in file manager.
