Spotify bar not working

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. If it's not, let me know if there's another place I should go.

I have an S21 phone. Recently, my spotify notification bar has not been working right. It will show the song that's playing, but no ball thing showing the progress through the song or allowing you to scroll to anotehr part of the song. I've had spotify on this phone since I got it and I only started having this issue now.

Force stopping the app, rebooting the phone, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app did not fix it. Uninstalling and reinstalling fixed it temporarily, but after a short while, it went back to what you see in the photo above. I've also checked for updates and found none.

Any help would be appreciated!

The same issue is also noted in Samsung S24.

I have the same issue on s23u. 

It seems like they broken it with an update.

Seems like they should roll out an update

Mine on my S21+ the control on the notification bar freezes with one song even if I change to another songs it just keeps frozen on one

Not to mention that this is also an issue on Android Auto as the music shortcut on Auto depends also on the notification bar
