Does anyone else have issues using a security screen protector and the fingerprint reader not recognizing your fingerprint? I'm unable to use many of the functions of the phone simply because the fingerprint reader can't recognize my prints because of the security screen protector.its really irritating. Has this happened to anyone else?
Not with a security screen protector but with a budget tempered glass screen protector that was supposed to work with the fingerprint sensor and it would register no matter what I did. I ended up having to buy a better quality screen protector(Spigen EX Fit tempered glass) and have had no issues since.
Have you tried turning on touch sensitivity in settings under display? That might help.
You can register up to 4 fingerprints, however, there is nothing stopping you from registering the same fingerprints up to 4 times as "separate" fingers, which can drastically improve accuracy in some cases. Try registering your same finger as separate fingers and see what happens.
Settings> security and privacy> biometrics> fingerprints> add fingerprints.
