This is some bull..I rarely use it but I needed to and couldn't.. What's the work around

I am kinda irritated they merged my post with this one...

Anyways I read something about having access to the GIF creator through the good lock app. I don't use it so don't know the exact instructions but I am sure you could Google a few keywords including goodlock and gif.

Supposedly the functionality is on the phone still just not accessible through native app anymore. I breezed through the article weeks ago but something to that effect.

How do you make gifs again using good lock? I can't find the feature

This is a callout to Samsung to have them bring back the smart select GIF maker that has been removed from phones that have One UI 6.1.1.

Why would they do that? What type of human doesn't like GIFs? Maybe the ones that were made into memes who's running this abomination that's ridiculous

I did the update today (9/14/24) and now my screen shot/snipping tools panel has disappeared from my side panel. I LOVE those tools. How do I get that back?

It is not an option in >Settings>Display>Panels.

That seems to only allow for rectangular "snips." How to make circular, oval, or freehand snips? If not possible, this is a HUGE DOWNGRADE!
