*This is not to do with speakers disconnecting from each other!!*
*This is to do with using the wifi option on the soundbar to use the smart things app*
Does anyone know what the fix for this is ? Samsung support are not helpful in providing information on the issue and simply defer to the service center. My service center is a 2hour drive from where i live and i don't really want to have to take the sound bar there and leave it to pick up another day unless i know its actually going to be fixed.
Basically i connect it to my 2.4Ghz wifi and can use smart things, after a day or so the soundbar will not connect to my router, i have to reset it and re-add the wifi. This is really inconvenient. Other forum posts on this issue tend to attract confused people thinking this is a connection issue with speakers or the sub disconnecting, this is not that issue! also some users report they had the service centre swap out the wifi chip in the sound bar and it did not resolve the issue.
Samsung should really provide a proper solution.

Home TheaterIts not a smart things issue though, is yours still under warranty? I just had my sound bars motherboard / wifi chip swapped out. Will test this weekend to see if its fixed. Fingers crossed.

Home TheaterWell i woke up the smorning and the sound bar was yet again disconnected from the router. Very disappointing, i wonder if this is a firmware issue and samsung does not care enough to fix it.
Its really frustrating as it took me two trips to the only service centre in my state here in aus and each time it was a 1hour drive and i had to get time of work to do it. I bought this sound bar and my samsung tv because they were highly reviewed and now im questioning these review sites.
