Hello there. I have a Samsung Galaxy A54 smartphone and I’ve been having a nuisance issue. When I power up the phone, it gets to the main screen. After a second, the screen goes off right away and I have to hit the power button to get it back on. I’m not sure what setting will work in Android to fix this. Any ideas out there?

I tried that. I set it at 5 minutes and restarted the phone and it didn’t work.

Well the screen normally goes off almost right away when first powered up, unless you immediately unlick it and start using it. Doesnt bother me because my device only gets powered off once a week when auto optimize reboots it, or I otherwise need to restart it.

Yeah. I have the screen timeout set at 5 minutes, but that’s only after I’m logged in that it works.

It does that bevause thers no point in wasting battery life if you are not going to use the device right away.

I understand. I just wish it would stay on a few seconds longer, but no big deal. Thank you.
