Does anyone else with the galaxy a13 have problems with the side button not turning the screen on me and 3 other people i know all have the same issue was wonder if its just us

Hi chi0, @userGGCC6ora9W, and @userMVyYFguiSy, welcome to the Community, and thank you for letting us know about this. If you cannot adjust the sound on your device using the Volume keys, or turn off/wake your device with the Side key, you need to first identify whether it is a software or a hardware issue. Follow the guide below to troubleshoot the malfunctioning keys issue. I'm having trouble with the side button/fingerprint reader only with a body glove phone case for the galaxy A13 5G

That's the exact same phone I'm talking about but mines with or without the phone case mine started off where I could slide the case off and it'd work then gradually got worse.
