I have a Radeon RX 6800 with a HDMI 2.1 cable, with the PC plugged in to the HDMI4 port on the TV. I can get HDR to work without game mode, but not when game mode is enabled. Windows will let you set the HDR on, but it's not detected by the tv as HDR.
Resolution settings, Hz settings, bit depth settings, VRR settings, none of these matter.
I have it hooked up to the internet and have downloaded the latest update (2001.4 as of writing this).
