My Samsung TV, model QN82Q70RAFXZA, does not link up at Gigabit rate over a Wired Ethernet connection.
When I connect a CAT6 cable, between my Samsung TV () and a Gigabit Ethernet switch, I am able to get a 100Mbps link only. When I replace the TV with a laptop, I get a sold 1Gbps link.
Can the Ethernet port on the Samsung Q70R support 1Gbps connection? I do not see this anywhere in the documentation. Please respond back.
Can someone explain why a high end tv would have such a dated ethernet nic? Can this be replaced with an up to date nic? It's ridiculous that such an expensive device would have outdated hardware
