Qn65qn85a: Picture fades out Powercycling

Cold start tv stays on for approx. 20 minutes or more. Picture fades out, screen shuts off for about 5 seconds--turns back on without boot up. Help.

Hi there, Thanks so much for reaching out about this. I can definitely understand the frustration with your TV fading out so often. I first recommend checking for software updates on your TV. After trial and error, I disconnected the ribbon for the left side of the screen, (left third no picture just black) the restart did not happen. Could it be the ribbon or the driver board at the bottom?
