QLED and The Frame TVsI purchased my QN85B over a year ago, and it's never been able to search for movies or other content outside of YouTube.
e.g. "search for movies", or "show me horror films", "play shawshank redemption" etc. Only random YouTube results appear.
The issue occurs using Bixby, Alexa, and google assistant. There's no difference between the 3.
I've been unable to find any options that would fix this. Samsung was unable to help me over the phone and via remote access. Scrolling to the bottom of the media page just shows me a resume playback option, where the only option is for Samsung TV+.
I'd love to gain this advertised functionality, which is something even my $40 fire stick tv can do.

QLED and The Frame TVsHello! Thank you for reaching out! That does seem strange that its only searching YouTube. I would recommend trying clearing the app data cache on your TV. There are two ways of doing this. Please see the following links:
https://www.samsung.com/au/support/tv-audio-video/clear-app-cache-and-data-on-your-samsung-tv/
If these do not help then a factory reset would be recomend to help solve this issue. I would also make sure that your TV is updated to the latest update also. Please let me know if this helped!

QLED and The Frame TVsThanks for your reply. Unfortunately I've already tried factory resets with the Samsung support team, and even manual software updates.
From what I've read, this is a common issue which has been occuring for years. There's still been no patch from Samsung (who I, like many others, have spent hours on the phone with trying to fix this)
