How can I block group on SMS

I received a scam type message pretending to be USPS & I can't find the block all these folks in my menu choices. I attached what I'm getting for options literally & was advised to never reply nor leave the group as it could signal a legit cell on the other end. How do I stop it cuz they keep doing it? It's tripping up my shipping apps etc.

Tap on the down arrow and you should be block contacts you may have to do it too all or just the main

If you switch to Google messages, you can enable spam protection and it sends most of those messages to spam and blocked. You can also manually block those that get through. And you won't even get a notification on the ones that automatically go to spam.

Just delete them. They'll change numbers to where blocks are pointless.
They'll get past Googles filter. I get those too and I use Google messages.
