Tab S6 (not Lite) S Pen Problem

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 (not Lite) and lately I've been getting Notifications that my S Pen is "disconnected from tablet."  When I try to connect it, the message reads "unable to connect."

Here's the strange part.  My S Pen is working just fine outside of these messages.  I've checked settings and updates, even though this tablet does not update anymore.  Yet the tablet tells me the S Pen is disconnected and won't connect no matter what I do.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what this problem may be, and any solutions?  Many thanks for any and all replies.

I suggest cleaning the connectors for the s pen and tablet
2 delete it and try pairing it like if it was a new s pen. If that doesnt work you might need to consider buying a new s pen
