I installed a network cell band info app to verify my phone was in fact picking up the 5G signal and low and behold it's not. It's actually not even detecting my SIM card, however when I turn 5G off 4G kicks in and it detects my SIM card it tells me the band I'm using, ECI, PCI, TAC and basically everything needed to operate correctly.  While connected to 5G with full signal I get a download speed of about 3.1 Mbs (very sad), same test on 4G I average about 140 Mbs. So basically having 5G activated with this beta it kills about 90% of my network. The picture where it say's "unknown" below sim1, is when I'm connected to 5G.
Anyone having this issue? I'm On T-Mobile.
I should note I'm not having any call related issues while on 5G just anything that uses the Internet, websites\ apps .

Install Google carrier services and then reboot your phone

I uninstalled it, then reinstalled it, rebooted, that bumped the speed up a tiny bit.
Still saying "unknown" . Screenshot_20211006-212451_Network Cell Info Lite.jpgScreenshot_20211006-212140_Speedtest.jpg

I could care less for 5G in its current state in my general area. Speeds are the same as 4G.

That's nice.
I average between 400 - 600mbps download with 5G. So I would very much enjoy getting that back.

Dang! I feel you on speed. I can't live without 200mbps on my home wifi. Yea since I've gotten this phone 5G was a letdown for me because I'll never get more than 30mbps even at full signal strength. Weirdly it'll say LTE but it's 5G according to my phone (One UI 3 and 4 both said 5G so idk)Screenshot_20211007-160638_Speedtest_40390.png

Hello @KH445 ,

As Network Cell Info Lite is a 3rd party app, you may need support from their dev team to make it recognize 5G.

But, For speeds being low we recommend looking at your signal strength in settings -> About Phone-> Status information -> sim card status -> Signal Strength. This in addition with signal quality determine your data speeds. If you do have a good signal strength around -110 dBm but are seeing lower speeds, Please send us an error report.

I'm seeing -113 dBm and speeds no faster than 27.5 Mbps . I sent a report in. This is kinda annoying, I can't use my 5G at all

do you have a second phone on the same network to test. just try rule out if it's just something wrong with the tower perhaps. My speeds are still the same for me still faster than my iPhone 13 on 5g UC. I really do wish Samsung would add a different 5g icon to let us know when it's on uc mode or multi carrier aggregation. also I did have a slow issue at first but I installed the Google carrier services and restarted my phone and 5g has been working normally for me after my reboot.

here is what my status shows on the app you are using Screenshot_20211007-104511_Network Cell Info Lite.jpg
