Beta registration error

Hi so i been trying to register for the beta progam for one ui 6 but everytime i try to enroll i get and error saying this "Your SIM card doesn't match the service provider

software on your phone. This is common if you've

changed service providers or if your phone and SIM

card are from different countries" have any of you get this error too? my s22 ultra is unlocked and i dont have any sim card in right now.

@jua22 I'm guessing that your phone shows a carrier logo at boot. If so, you need to insert a SIM from that carrier to get the Beta. And then you will only get the Beta if your carrier is participating.

nop its an unlocked phone, i have never put a sim card either

@jua22 You will still need to insert a SIM card to be able to get the Beta. You can remove the SIM card after if you wish.

Yes, mine was showing the same error until I activated service on it from T-Mobile. Then I was able to register for the beta.

It's not about T-Mobile, it's about you have to have a sim in the phone to register

I'm having the same problem,
so is it possible to get one UI 6 after beta or will be stuck in the one UI 5, if we don't insert the same carrier sim...
