I've posted this several times before, but I'm still seeing users struggle with animation / quick panel lag. Can simply be fixed by going to:
Settings > Accessibility > Visibility Enhancements > Reduce transparency and blur. Also be sure to set your resolution to FHD or UHD. HD+ seems to lag (which makes no sense but I submitted a report on it).
You'll miss out on a transparent quick panel and all blur effects present in the app switcher and home screen. Screen recording and editing a screenshot appear to still use this effect and cause lag, so if we could get more people talking about this and reporting it, that'd be great.
