DiscussionsAnother work around is to insert the sim card into a good working phone, after provision, reinsert into problem device.
The issue is that the sim needs to be reprovisioned. Used to be able yo do *#*#4636#*#* clich phone info and scroll down to force provision but it is now grayed out as its automatic when a new sim is inserted. Maybe try putting a different sim in problem device the put original sim in after provision. Sim must be from device carrier unless your device is carrier unlocked.
