DiscussionsI understand that there’s a percentage of features Samsung may share or take inspiration from iPhones, but I’m curious why the new One UI 8.5 beta looks and feels so much like an iPhone—just more upgraded.
Is this part of a design direction Samsung is moving toward, or is it mainly about usability and consistency? I’d love to hear other users’ thoughts and Samsung’s perspective on this.

If I wanted iOS I'd buy an iPhone. I'm not crazy about the 3D icons nor the glass look. The 3D icons is just taking us back to what was already done in the early 2000's and the glass look just reminds me of windows vista.
It's nice that Samsung gives you the option to use icon packs to set the phone up the way you like it.
