The 100X Zoom is not going to be perfect even with updates. You'll get good quality up to about 30X Zoom. But because 100X Zoom is not optical it won't be the best detail. But the fact that a smartphone can still do this is awesome. And it can only get better as time goes on and gets us excited for whats to come in the future. Yes the zoom doesn't work. The camera opens by itself several times a day. Goes to show their using our camera without our knowledge or consent. And the troubleshooting provided here doesn't work (clearing cache option, & the steps you have to take to "clear cache" is really odd) Really disappointed.
