Galaxy S21
2 days ago my Galaxy S21 updated to 5.0. Afterward, I noticed my edge lighting stopped lighting up for notifications for certain apps. The apps I have selected to use edge lighting won't even light up my phone if the screen is off.
Anyone else experiencing this? Any fixes?

Go into settings, and hit notifications. For some users, the update turns the edge lighting off.

It's turned on. I've even tried turning it off and back on again. Still not getting it to pop up for notifications.

Everything was as updated as it could be.
I was able to resolve the issue though. The apps I noticed I wasn't getting notifications anymore for, I uninstalled and reinstalled. That fixed whatever issue I was experiencing! 🙂

Try rebooting into recovery mode, clearing the cache, and then running the repair apps option. Your phone will restart after. Test it out. LMK if this helps! GL!
