Let me start by saying this is not an Android auto issue as this only began after the Android 13 release. Essentially, there is a bug that when my phone connected to Android auto wirelessly for the first time, the screen turns on, on my lock screen, but touch controls do not work. I have to press the power button twice to regain control of my screen. The problem is that if my phone stays like this for too long. My phone warms up really badly and the battery drains. I tried posting this issue on the beta forum when it first occurred but received no support.

Not a fix for my issue. I've cleared the cache and started fresh, as in I factory reset my phone after the stable build was released to the public.

Bummer. Wish I could test myself, but I have an 03 haha! Maybe a bug that'll be patched in a future update.

Sadly also doesn't resolve it. As I mentioned, this happened even after a starting fresh. (factory reset after upgrading to os13, and not restoring apps. No smart switch or anything.

I have the same on my S22 Ultra with a 2022 Ram 1500. Lock screen turns on when it connects to AA and it just stays frozen with the screen on until I hit the power button like 2 or 3 times to get the screen to turn off. Annoying.

After the android 13 update on my s20 ultra I can not connect to android audio. I don't have wireless, plug it into the USB port but it will not project anymore. The USB port will still charge my phone. I've tried all kinds of things. I'm not that car tech savvy, anyone have any ideas?

I'm having the opposite happen to me, when I turn off touch controls, I'll accidentally touch them or I'm trying to clean them and I'm having to turn stuff off or close apps or hang up phone calls, I've also turned off "noise controls with one earbud and I'll cough and depending on which bud I have in my ear the volume goes up or down, which is so annoying
