Galaxy S24What are you trying to accomplish with the separate app sound? As I understand it, that setting is so that you can get sounds from some apps while the speaker is in use by another audio source. If you are just trying to have different sounds for different app notifications, that's a different setting.

Galaxy S24My guess is that they leave it at 5 apps, because what would happen if all the sounds were playing at once? That's cognitive overload and there's really no reason for it. I guess you will have to choose the 5 that are most important to you. My personal opinion is one app would be fine, as some people like to listen to music while they are on the phone. This appears to be the most common application for the separate app sound, so 5 apps would be a little overkill. I don't use the feature myself.

Galaxy S24I was also facing the same issue and To enable Separate App Sound on your Galaxy S24, what I did was,
navigate to Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Separate App Sound. Activate the feature, select the desired app, and choose the audio output device.
