I have been noticing a whole lot of audio issues with the s25 ultra. Namely after doing the February update, but I've only owned the phone for 8 days. It is brand spanking new, and yes I am pretty tech savvy. Just a disclaimer before I'm told to do basic or even advanced troubleshooting. I am well versed in the S- series and android in general, it's all I've ever owned. But I have noticed popping in the speakers in various applications such as capcut, Spotify, watching videos off Google (when rotating phone), going to Bing and the volume being very low even though my phone is at full volume. Even audio popping during diagnostics.

Galaxy S25Yes I adjusted sound levels, tried messing with EQ settings (bass boost) and enabled dolby. I wound up having to change my notification sounds to selections that sounded less tinny. Youtube videos sound fine. I will post back how Gemini sounds.

Galaxy S25So I guess it was the sounds that I had from my S22, that I was used to and migrated over to the s25. The s25 did not like them and made them very tinny. Gemini sounds fine. I will accept that this issue is solved.

Galaxy S25Yes exactly the same. Trying to put up with it but drives me insane. Everytime I get a notification its so flipping tinny sounding (like its inside a tin can and then some). I keep intending to contact Samsung about it to see if its faulty but keep forgetting or get too busy. Its literally 2 weeks old and been like that from the start. Tried a couple of different sound settings but made no difference whatsoever. Honestly my old S10 has 10 x the sound quality on this one.

Galaxy S25Terrible sound on Bluetooth-connected music devices with my Galaxy S25 Ultra. This needs a serious fix—how do we escalate this? I’ve tested multiple headphones and earbuds, and they all have the same exact issue. Yet, they work perfectly fine on Windows.
Every audio source—audiobooks, offline music, Spotify—has a grainy, hiccuping sound every 5-10 seconds, if not more. It’s like something in the background keeps messing with the sound settings. I’ve turned off all the useless dynamic sound features, but it still won’t go away. There’s also a small but sharp click that pops into my ears—not subtle at all. This happens whether I’m sitting still or moving around.
I’ve owned many Samsung devices and I’m pretty tech-savvy, so I know it’s not my settings or the Bluetooth devices themselves—they worked fine on my Galaxy S23. But as soon as I connect them to my S25 Ultra, the problem starts. If I switch them to my computer? Perfect, no issues.
I can’t even judge the audio quality because this constant blunder is so distracting I can’t listen to anything for more than a minute. Social media apps and everything else have the same problem. Is this really a software issue? If so, it needs to be fixed ASAP.
My return window has already passed because Samsung took forever processing my trade-in. Now I don’t even know what my options are. This is beyond frustrating.
