I have a Galaxy S9 and an EP PN920 wireless charger. If the charger has a solid blue light it is charging, if the light is blinking it is not charging.
on the phone settings threre are two charging settings:
The phone SWITCHES do not work correctly. Examples below
The Phone only charges on the EP PN920 when the FAST CABLE SWITCH is on and the wireless is off.
Anyone know why the switches are working backwards?
Thank you

The Geek Squad found the charger to be at fault.
I now have a new (different model). I have hope, trust will come later!
Thank you again

Do you experience these symptoms if you try to charge your device in safe mode?

It is the same in safe mode. The wireless charger stays on only when FAST CABLE CHARGING is on. If Fast Wireless Charging is on, either alone or with Fast Cable charging being on, the charger turns off after about 10 seconds.

Do you have a different device you can test on the charger?

No, I'm afraid not.
Other than the problem noted, The charger does charge the phone, it changes from Blue to Green, when the Phone reaches 100%. The charger/phone get warm, but not hot, during the charge cycle and cools when the Green light comes on.

Hmmm, I'm not honestly sure why the switches aren't working properly it is definitely strange. Without a secondary device, we can't really rule out that it is the charger so that makes this a little tricky. I would recommend visiting a local uBreakiFix location and explain what is happening, perhaps you need a software reflash. Alternatively, if you have not already tried I would wipe the cache partition of the device just to make sure there is no outdated information being stored there that might interfere in some way.

I wiped the cache partition as you suggested. No change.
I think I'll go to the retailer's Geek Squad and see if they can test the charger.
