When I open Health App on my i+ T5, it says:
- By continuing, you agree to updated terms
- I press continue
- It then asks me to set up 2FA, I press start
- It then asks me to change 2FA, I click "set up 2FA"
- It then asks me for password, which I enter
- It then says "turn on 2FA", (for like the 3rd time....)
- I press "not now", as I don't want to share number/data with any friends
- It then asks me to sign in (again)
- Asks for password, (again)
- It then asks me to change 2FA (4th time)
- I press "not now"
- I get an ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED error
- I press try again
- after a minute, i get "network connection is unstable" (which is not true)
- I press try again
- after a minute, i get a 403 forbidden error....
I tried the online chat bot, but it says "you have a problem, is that correct?" and if I answer yes, the bot freezes and I cannot type anything into it.
Lot of Samsung problems!

Galaxy WatchAnything? I am unable to get any support from any channel, so at this point I may as well switch brand.

Galaxy WatchWhat does 2FA have to do with sharing data with friends? Samsung typically mandates 2FA so if you're not setting that up then that may be the issue.

Galaxy WatchI agree totally. Here's what is happening, and it's pretty confusing and misleading.
First I am told that I have to set to two-step verification (which is also interchangeably called 2FA, which will confuse anyone who doesn't know what that is, and in fact the two are not always the same). I am told I must do this, so that my number will be shared by the App....
Reading this page, the first thing I am thinking, is that I will opt out of this "feature" as soon as I can.
So when I see this screen next, I select "not now", thinking I am opting out of the whole "using my phone number service".
However I see now, that I must be opting out of the whole app.
This then gave me an error message page.
This is all very poor indeed, in terms of both security, misleading people about how data is used, and UX.
1) if the "not now" means I cannot access the app, the next page should say "you need to set up 2FA to access your account", not give me a tech DNS error message!
2) the whole thing should be structured as "you need to set up 2FA as a security measure in order to access your account". That would be completely fine.
3) Then later somewhere, there should be a feature notification, saying "Samsung can use your number to help friends find you..... do you want to switch this on?"
Tying the two things together, giving you an opt out that does something different, not explaining why you're doing what you're doing and what the consequences are, poor messaging and error handling... all very very bad.
Then the support line told me I had to contact Romanian support as my watch (unconnected to being able to access the app on my phone), was Romanian (actually bought in Samsung store in UK), and they would not speak English....
0/10 for the whole Samsung experience this month.

Galaxy WatchThanks for reaching out. This forum is for support of US products and customers. As your product is a non-US model and support for these models is very limited, please seek a support team for your area. You can do so by using this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html
