I can't rename the file of any of my pictures in my photo galary since I upgraded to Android 11? Anyone else have this issue?

Go into My Files and find your picture. Select it in whatever method you wish. You should see "Move", "Copy", "Delete", and "More". Upon touching "More", you should have the option to rename.

It was a recent change to Samsung Gallery that disabled renaming your pictures. You can still rename them through My Files though.

I've tried both Samsung Gallery and My files. Either way, still cannot rename a saved picture.

Not sure why Samsung/Android decided to take away naming photos yearmonthday to keep them organized. Now the files are created with no convention - on top of the fact that the created/taken dates aren't accurate - it's a nightmare trying to manage photos much
Then when Microsoft dumbs down there photo app that doesn't have a decent import feature to organize by category so each picture can be named or face recognition avail on win10 all this new tech is just going backwards on logic.. Ugh!
