You have to completely sign out of your Samsung account on the device itself and sign back in. I had this same issue. Should resolve. The downside is having to reactivate credit/debit cards in Samsung pay again
Settings> Accounts and backup> Manage accounts> (Samsung account)> remove account
Settings> Accounts and backup> Manage accounts> (Samsung account)> remove account
