You can disable the play store if you dont like it. The galaxy store doesn't have alot of the apps google play offers.

I regularly check app permissions to check what apps have access to, even if an app is installed on your phone it requires these permissions to access this data and you can manually turn them off

Settings>apps>(3 dots) app premissions

On newer devices we also have premission usage monitor. This gives a notification if any app you have selected is accessing a premission in the background.

Settings> biometrics and security>premission usage monitor.

So if you regularly check your device for premissions and use the monitor then this kind of app shouldn't be able to access your data. And if it does you should get a notification and i would definitely delete it. The lady in the video even said you accepted/gave us permissions.

Hope this helps improve your security

One more section i forgot to mention,

In settings>apps>(3 dots) special access

Device admin apps, change system settings, notification access, install unknown apps, and usage data access are premissions you don't want to grant an app you have downloaded yourself, if the app was preloaded on your device then they should be okay. you normally would need to approve these permissions individually in settings but still a good idea to check.

Google Store has so many trash and un-updated apps.

Galaxy Store is much more quality and more useful.

Use Galaxy Store!
