Search on apps screen

When we swipe up from home screen to open apps screen, can we have an option to have the cursor in search automatically and have the keyboard open up ? 

This will help in saving a tap on search bar which itself is hard to reach as the search bar is on the top.

90% of my swipe ups consist of tapping on an icon, so the keyboard will probably be in the way

Maybe a toggle to turn that requested feature on

I don't have that problem....I have never had it...but you can use one hand mode to access de open apps.
