@Leavy not sure what they are talking about but the only way to make calls on samsung tablets is to have your cell phone linked to the tablet it uses the Cell phone service to make calls since tablets only have a data sim that doesn't work for calls. You can text and surf the web with a data only sim but no calls thats why you have to use a connected device
