I have read all instructions & have entered emergency contact information however, the instructions tell me to "Press the Home button 5 times to call an emergency number". This does not work. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or maybe there is something wrong elsewhere but I'd like to solve the problem. TIA

Thank you for following up. I can certainly understand your concerns with the Emergency SOS feature not working, and I would be happy to look into this further for you. I would recommend making sure the software is up-to-date on your phone and watch. This will keep any fixes through the updates available on your device.

You can use the following link to ensure the watch and phone are set up for the best experience using the feature. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00078032/

If the software is up-to-date, the next step would be to reset your watch. This will allow you to have a fresh software to start with. Please make sure that your watch has a back-up prior to resetting. However, we want to test the watch prior to restoring it to make sure there was not something in the restored software cause this symptom. Give this link a try for the proper steps to reset you watch: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00084702/

If you have tried the troubleshooting steps above and are still experiencing these symptoms, I would recommend submitting an error report. Please use this link for the steps to submit a proper error report: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Apps-and-Services/How-to-submit-an-error-report/td-p/247...

You are also welcome to have the watch evaluated by an authorized service center. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location  or by contacting customer support at  1-800-726-7864.

For assistance outside the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html

Thank you for following up. Are you pressing the button five times fast or just like a slow clicking pattern?

Thank you for that information. Are you getting any error messages when you are pressing the button or does the SOS feature just not work?

Why is this post marked as a solution? I don't see any new information to change the situation..... unless, of course, I am missing something.
