How do I get the game icons back

How come my downloaded games icons have disappeared on my phone? Have to Google Play Games, recently played and open from there. How do I get the icons back?

What kind of phone most of them come with a folder for games. Look for something called game launcher

Ty for the info. Did they just remove the icons and just have to go thru launcher now I assume?

Thanks for reaching out. I understand why this would be a bit frustrating. The games are automatically grouped in the Game Launcher to give you access to additional features. However, there is still an option to have the icons on the Home and App screens. Open Game Launcher> select the additional options in the top corner> select the settings> look for an option that says Show game apps and select it. This should give you the option of showing them on the Home and App screens and in Game Launcher or just having them in Game Launcher.
