Galaxy BudsI, like so many others, am having severe issues with my ears after wearing my Buds Pro. I awoke this morning at 3:30 with very wet ears. They also are very itchy.
This is the second time this has happened. The first time I had the same symptoms. But, after my ears began to heal, the flaking and extreme itching began. I noticed it began not long after wearing them. I discontinued use.
Last night, I wanted to try again. I wiped down the silicone tips with alcohol. I wore them for roughly 10 minutes and here we are. Wide awake on a work day with awful symptoms.
I own multiple Samsung devices. My televisions (2), 4K UHD Bluray, sound bar and surround sound, phones, tablets and I just bought the Galaxy Book Go. I love that I can connect everything. Needless to say, I am disappointed in the Buds.
What can be done to make this right? Thank you.

Galaxy BudsI am about to give Samsung a call in the morning about a really bad reaction I keep getting when wearing the Earbuds Pro. It was fine at 1st, but recently every time I put it on, after a few minutes of wearing I would get really bad itching, burning sensation. Then followed by oozing/bleeding.
This was not the 1st time it happened. After the 1st time, I wrote it off as a 1 off and waiting for my ears to heal before putting it back on. It was about a week of oozing/bleeding and then scalping. After my ears seems like they healed, then I started using them again. Repeated 3 times and this was the last and 3rd time. Something is wrong with these eardbuds.
Like I said, I was using them fine for a while. Although at 1st it would be kinda itchy but that was after wearing them for hours. But now, I can't even get by with more than 15-30 minutes before my ears start burning and itching. My theory is there is a malfunction in the charger metal ports where it gets activated while in ear and produces enough electrical current to slow burn in the inside of my ears. OR, simply my ear has developed an allergic reaction with whatever materials these earbuds use.
In any case, I am calling Samsung in the morning and try to get some help. I obviously can't use them anymore if they keep doing this to my ears every time and I am out of my return window....
EDIT: FORGOT to mention, I ordered some aftermarket tips that are foam after the 2nd time it started itching - thinking it might be the silicone tips. Turns out the same thing happens regardless of the tips.

Galaxy BudsDefinitely something is wrong with the materials they are using with these earbuds. No issues with the previous 3. But I've noticed that after using the buds pro, my ears start itching. Like before today I hadn't used them in couple of weeks and had no ear issues. Used them today, and a couple of hrs later my ears started itching.

Galaxy BudsI am having the exact same problem.
My new Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro caused a bad Allergic reaction in both ears. Itching, burning, moisture buildup in outer ear, flaky skin; Both ears were red, inflamed to the point of almost swollen shut.
For me, I confirmed the cause was the soft tips of the Galaxy Buds Pro.
I did a home allergy test: I taped one of the soft ear-bud tips to the inside of my forearm for about 3 hours; A big red swollen welt appeared within 24 hours (seen in image). It has been 2 weeks, and the red spot is still visible on my arm (but much better). And my ears are still not back to normal after 4 weeks of no use of the Buds.
