Sending videos to non android users

Why did Samsung take away sending videos to non android users?

It's still available on the Samsung messages, but not on Google messages for some reason. I do recall you were able to link share with g messages, but not why the feature was removed.

@MrsVDB The ability is still there. Click the share icon and then click on Quick Share. You can share to contacts from there.

I can send videos. Are you guys trying to send video on non traditional formats?
