How can I unlock Samsung Galaxy J3 to change networks?

Hi i have a Samsung  Galaxy j3 i have tried to get my phone unlocked so i can change my network  but as i proceeded  to do so when i finished  they said my IMEI number and my phone/or phone number do not match why is this?

Did u ever get it network unlocked I have a j3 also and my new carrier said my phone was compatible but when I put my new sim in I got network locked also
