Fold & Flip PhonesOk, so I've had a fold 2. Fold 3. Fold 4, and a Fold 5. I just got the Fold 6 and please someone explain why the battery drains so much faster than any of the prior models. I've looked at optimizing the battery usage/charging, making sure my display settings are best for battery life and the Fold6 drains so much faster when using the front screen only vs front and center screen on the Fold 5. Is my phone a fluke? Or are others having the same horrible battery experience with the 6???

Fold & Flip PhonesHello, Welcome to the Community. We understand how frustrating it is for the battery to be draining quickly. Try clearing the cache partition from the recovery menu:
To get to recovery mode:
- Turn off phone
- Once off, hold down volume up and power buttons simultaneously
- When Samsung logo appears, release power button BUT KEEP HOLDING VOLUME UP until the recovery menu appears
- Use volume buttons to navigate down to clear cache (NOT CLEAR DATA/ FACTORY RESET)
- Use power button to select.
We do have some information for the battery draining while on 5G here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01201462/
You can find more information for optimizing the phone here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00078987/
We also recommend submitting an error report in the Members app: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Submit-an-Error-Report/ba-p/3001692
If you've tried troubleshooting above, and continue to experience battery drain, repairs would be recommended. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

Fold & Flip Phones@Sheffigus I've had the Fold 3, 4, 5, and now Fold 6. In my experience, the Fold 6 has the best battery life of all of those devices.

Fold & Flip PhonesI just got the Fold 6, and so far battery life is pretty good. I use my phone all day and it has power to last.
I run my business on my phone with multiple running apps simultaneously. example, CRM- maps, tracking are
my frequently combined apps. When on job sites I run CRM, Cloud photo app and audio programs.. I am liking
this thing so far.

Fold & Flip PhonesThanks for your input. In 8 hours with basic use (internet, Facebook, texts, discord) I'm down to 30% no games, no streaming. It's a bummer, I love this model compared to the 5 or prior models and im afraid I'll be tied to a charger vs days without charging on the order versions
