How to: Submit an Error Report

If you encounter an unexpected issue while using your Galaxy device, especially if you’ve tried troubleshooting and recently have updated, try submitting an error report through the Samsung Members app. Attaching a log file will help greatly in analyzing the cause of the specific trouble with your device. After analyzing the log file and confirming the cause of the symptoms, a specialized team will respond through the Samsung Members App!

 

Send an Error Report

  1. Launch the Samsung Members App, and then tap the Support icon for additional options.

  1. Scroll down and under “Send Feedback”, select “Error Reports”.

  1. Select the Symptom Category your issue falls within, if giving simple general feedback select the “Other” option.

  1. In the next window please fill out the frequency and be as descriptive and detailed about the issue itself, when it started, what device you’re utilizing, what your software is device is running, troubleshooting that you’ve completed, etc. Utilize the attachment option to attach any screenshots you were able to gather while the error was occurring.

Note: Please make sure that the log data is checked. If giving general feedback you may leave the frequency at the default setting or select once.

  1. Once completed tap the send icon in the top right corner to submit the report. You can check the feedback that you’ve sent at anytime by returning to the support menu and selecting “Check feedback you’ve sent” option.
