Hey there, and welcome to the Community! @KennewickMan made a great suggestion, do check that your apps aren't hidden with that "hide apps from home and apps screen" option. Additionally, check to see if the apps are at least still in your app drawer, and not just gone from the home screen. If they are, all you need do is re-add whichever apps you wish to your home screen again.

If these are not the case, thankfully we can do further troubleshooting to get to the root cause.

First thing to try is Safe Mode, which can see if a rogue third-party app may be causing this behavior. Utilize this guide and see if it still has those icons missing: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/

If this persists even while in Safe Mode, it may be time to do a factory reset. First, back up everything you do not wish to lose, using this handy guide: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00060517/

After you have backed up all files and data you do not wish to lose that can be restored later, follow the steps here to do a factory reset of your phone: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician. For service in the U.S., you can take the phone to a local U.S. walk-in service location https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung or to ship the phone in for service, please reach out to us via one of the following options: 1. Go into your home screen settings and make sure they aren't being hidden with the 'hide apps from home and apps screen' option.

Thanks. I did check that. I finally found the button to restart this phone galaxy ultra 22. Had to search for it. That fixed it. Thanks again
