Is there a way to delete duplicate photos to free up more space?

With my 21+ I sometimes look in my Google "files" folder and there is a folder that says duplicate pictures and I delete that way.

Go to settings, Device Care, Storage, there will be a list of options, and duplicate files are one of the options.

Be aware that a photo will appear in both Recent album and in another album. This is because the Recent album is not a real album. It displays photos which appear in all other albums based on an algorithm. Anything appearing in the Recent album is NOT a duplicate. If you delete a photo from the Recent album, you delete the real photo which resides in another album.
