SD Card issues

I upgraded my SD card to 1T. But I can't transfer my apps like I could before on a smaller SD card. It keeps telling me not enough storage space and I haven't even used 4% on it. Did I do something wrong? I need help.

I know there's many apps, ones that rely on certain system capabilities and I believe some with Widget capabilities that are not able to be transferred to an SD card. Is this happening with all apps or just certain ones?

Have you tested the card in any other device? There are fake memory cards out there in the market.

What phone do you have?

I have a Samsung A16. I took out the larger sdcard and put back in 296gb and I can transfer apps now. With the other one I couldn't transfer anything.
