Hi there.

The option to change the screen refresh rate in GB3 Ultra works only on Windows 11 23H2 and earlier. It does not work on Windows 11 24H2 or 25H2.

I have already tried downloading drivers from Samsung Update for Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2. However, the video driver version has remained the same since the 22H2 release: Graphics Driver_31.0.101.4314.

I also tried downloading drivers from the Intel and NVIDIA websites, but nothing has changed. This issue seems to be related to something specific to the Samsung model.

Alright, it’s up to you now, Samsung! It depends entirely on your willingness to solve this issue.

Well, why can I change the settings whenever I want when using Windows 11 23H2?

On Windows 11 23H2, I can select 60 Hz, 120 Hz, or Auto.

It seems to me that there is a bug in the Samsung video driver affecting the later versions of Windows.

This same issue occurs in W11 24H2 and 25H2, and even on W10 22H2. The option to select the screen refresh rate works only on Windows 11 23H2 - as we can see below:

I'm sorry. When I select the 60 Hz option, I can feel the difference right away.

I have been using Windows 11 23H2 since January 2024 because of this limitation. However, support for Windows 11 23H2 has reached the end of its lifecycle.

I was hoping that the newer updates from Samsung would fix the issue. However, the video driver is the same as in Windows 11 22H2.
