Galaxy BudsHey Bkacklion1126! Thanks for visiting the Community! Let's see if we can get your listening experience back to peak performance.
1. Check for Software or ModeโSpecific Issues
Some users report that the right bud produces a hiss or buzz only when ANC or ambient noise is enabled.
-
Try resetting the earbuds: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01218103/
-
Update firmware: Check your phoneโs software and the earbudsโ firmware for updates.
-
Test with different modes: Turn off ANC/ambient and see if the noise persists. If itโs gone, the issue may be modeโspecific.
2. Test with Another Device
If the noise is only in the right bud, try pairing them with another phone, tablet, or computer.
-
If the noise is gone, the problem is likely with the original deviceโs audio settings or connection.
-
If it persists, the issue is with the earbuds themselves.
3. Check Audio Balance and Source Settings
-
On your device, go to Sound/Accessibility and ensure the Audio Balance or L/R Balance is centered.
-
Play different audio files to rule out channelโimbalanced content.
4. Inspect the Earbud
-
Clean the speaker grill with a soft brush or dry cotton swab to remove earwax or debris.
-
If the bud is damaged or has a loose connection, it may cause unusual sounds.
5. Quick Workarounds (if noise is modeโspecific)
Some users found that lowering volume or playing music briefly in ambient mode could clear the hiss. This is not a permanent fix but may help in the meantime.
If this does not help I recommend letting a service technician have a look. As we would like to gather additional information, and look at this from a case by case basis, please provide the full model code and serial number of the device as well as your best contact phone number, name, and email.
