I have one with an 7FE battery in it as well. The note7 recall is where i think timeline split into the current bad timeline.

And I cut the top plastic to make the battery removable. Once the battery runs out, I'll just reload the battery from the Note FE.

I wanted the Note7 so bad! My order was canceled after some of the phones started exploding, and before mine shipped. It's one of the few Note series phone I did not own.
