Theres an app the enables a ring around your camera that displays your battery life. Its not for everyone but it is definitely for me. Maybe you guys should try it out. Its called Energy Ring.

I second this. It's a handy little app for sure. It also helps clean up the notification bar by being able to remove the battery symbol and percentage. Looks cleaner, in my opinion too.

Got a better one. Changes color but picture obviously wont capture it
