Not sure what update this is but the little down arrow in Gboard that was on the right side below the space bar is now gone. This arrow hid the board as needed. Now I have to click out of the keyboard to hide it, which may or may not work. When it doesn't work I'm stuck with the keyboard taking half the screen.
Anyone run into this yet?
Edit: I have the show button to hide key board option enabled. All I have is an empty space where the arrow used to be
2nd Edit: now it's back all of a sudden. Not sure how it disappeared but I sent Google feedback earlier
