Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy phone. In Device Care, the Storage section used to show how much storage space was left/available. Now it only shows the percentage used. For example, it now says โ96% usedโ and โ246.9 GB / 256 GB,โ but I would like it to show the available space directly, like it used to. Is there any way to make Device Care show remaining available storage again instead of percentage used?
@ddflink 96% used! You really need to backup any important files from your phone and then delete items from your phone. With such a low amount of free space your phone is struggling to operate the way it should.
Your free space is easily calculated, it is total memory minus used memory. So in your case 256 - 246.9 = 9.1 GB.
It being "simple to calculate" isn't the point though because why change from the previous "info at a quick glance" format at all? Did Samsung users ask for the added extra step of having to make, simple or not, calculations? It's just bizarre & another typical example of Samsung "fixing" apps that aren't broken
Yes. I thought I was foing crazy. Random changes for no good reason not appreciated. I wish I could inventory busywork for myself justify my own existence like you do.
